The Killers to perform MEN Arena

The Killers have announced a Manchester date as part of an arena tour.The Las Vegas band will play the M.E.N. Arena on March 9, 2009, as part of their major tour to date. After successful over fans with albums Hot Fuss and Sam's Town - which sold a total of 12 million copies - the band, faced by Brandon Flowers, launched their new album Day and Age on November 24.The band are reportedly preparing a Christmas single with Elton John entitled `Joseph, Better You Than Me'.
