The Sale school’s 39-strong choir from Years 3-6 revealed with vocal giant Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra following an invitation from the Dutch maestro.

The children in the arena most of the day spent talking to rehearse, the sound check and learn the intricacies of the choreography on stage enjoying the whole experience.

Even members of the orchestra, many of which already were dressed in their beautiful gowns with evening concert before - were treated to dinner.

Teacher Chris Ross said: “It was an enchanting day from start to finish. We were wonderfully looked after by Andre Rieu’s choral coordinator Tom Diamandis and vocal coach Raymond Scott, and the actual performance was very emotional, especially for an extremely proud group of Forest Park parents.”
